The ski area "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental" is Austria's largest interconnected ski area and with a total of 91 lifts and cable cars it is easy to access the 279 km of perfectly prepared piste. Snow cannons keep 210km of piste covered in snow thus guaranteeing skiing for the whole season. If you're looking for something a little different try the Fun Parks in Söll and Ellmau. When your legs are a little tired there are over 70 mountain huts in which to take a well earned break.
Explore the fabulous SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental and its 279km of pistes on your board or practice your tricks at one of the Fun Parks. Aimed specifically at snowboarders - try the Boarders Playground Snowpark Westendorf, it offers 3 different Lines (Easy, Medium and Hard) and countless kickers, boxes and rails of various shapes and sizes and is the venue for numberous high profile events.
The Wilder Kaiser region has over 70 kilometres of sunny, flat or gently undulating, perfectly prepared trails at your disposal running between the villages of Söll, Scheffau, Ellmau and Going.
Cross Country Skiing (Langlauf)
Squeeze in as much skiing as possible and try night skiing (additional lift pass required), open from Wednesday to Saturday night. Night skiing offers 10km of floodlight pistes and the valley descent is lit until 10.30pm.
Take a break from skiing and take out a toboggan for the afternoon. The Söll Hexenritt tobaggan run is 3km long and is open daily from 8am to 5pm. You can also try night tobaggining from Wednesday to Saturday 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
